MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame Karan Mehra who rose to fame with the Rajan Shahi show had been under a lot of scrutinies after his then-wife Nisha Rawal accused him of alleged Domestic violence towards her and their son.
The past few years have been full of back and forth for the actor. Karan has been going through a rough patch. The public media tassel has been quite controversial.
Karan Mehra spoke out about the allegations after a long time in a press conference. But recently the actor sat down with Siddharth Kanan to clear the air once and for all.
When asked if he has ever tried to find an amicable solution with Nisha Rawal, he said, “Even after calling things amicable, if people are going behind my back and filing cases against me and putting everything on social media or just to the media in general. What is left to solve amicably? She is the one who wanted to go to court and I have never denied it”.
On the accused of creating a media trial, he said “ I am not the one that started this, I have stayed away from making my personal life public since the beginning. I am not active on social media and I don’t have these millions of followers. I did not let Kaavish my son come out in public till he was a year old. I am not a person who goes out in public and flash my life to the public. Everybody has been active and posting things and they are living their life after destroying someone else. I have done the paperwork, I am not putting false allegations on anyone, only doing things by the book. And I am not the one who has made this into a public trial”.
