Legendary singer Kumar Sanu shares screen space with Rupali Ganguly in Anupama


Star Plus show Anupama has reached great heights and has been showered with constant applause and appreciation from the audience. The viewers are all set to witness the new member of Star Parivaar, Titli meeting Anupamaa but along with that, they will also see legendary singer Kumar Sanu playing a part in the show.

A source confirmed the details adding, “It will be a treat for the audience to witness their favourites, Kumar Sanu, with Anupamaa and Titli sharing screen space together. Kumar Sanu to grace the stage and sets of Anupama where he will create a musical and magical atmosphere.” Kumar Sanu will be seen entertaining everyone with his music as he performs at Anupama and Vanraj’s son Samar’s wedding with Dimple.

During the show, Kumar Sanu will be seen recreating some of his biggest chartbusters like ‘Dheere Dheere Se’ (Aashiqui), title track of Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi‘Yeh Kaali Kaali Aankhen’ (Baazigar) and ‘Tere Ishq Mein Nachenge’ (Raja Hindustani). Speaking about his experience of shooting for Anupama, Kumar Sanu said, “It was a great experience to be a part of Anupama. The concept is something different and I am enjoying every moment. It was an amazing experience shooting along with Rupali Ganguly and Neha Solanki. It feels overwhelming for the love and appreciation that I have received for ‘Dheere Dheere Se’ which has been recreated in the show Titli. As for Anupama, it is the most loved show and I am glad to have been a part of it”.

Anupama is produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under the banner of Director’s Kut Productions. The show stars Rupali Ganguly in the titular role along with Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Chhavi Pandey, Ashlesha Sawant, Sagar Parekh, Muskaan Bamne, Aashish Mehrotra, Nidhi Shah, Alpana Buch, among others playing pivotal roles. The show airs on Star Plus from Monday to Sunday at 10 pm.
