MUMBAI : Bharti Singh is a well-known name in the comedy business. Her jokes and sense of humor have made millions laugh and become her fan. She is, however, also trolled for her weight. Recently the ‘Khatra Khatra Khatra’ host was a guest on ‘Moving In with Malaika’ where she broke down talking about the mean comments she got from netizens commenting on her weight as well as her marriage to Haarsh Limbachiyaa.
While Bharti joked about some comments she said some were really hurtful. Bharti said she has read comments like ‘aage chal ke kya karegi’, ‘Yeh hua asli combination hathi aur cheeti ka’, ‘bas kar Phategi kya?’. She said not just men but women also had written mean comments which was really shocking.
Some netizens commented on her marriage pictures saying, “maa aur beta”, “Bacche ke saath shaadi kar li” She wasn’t the only one who got mercilessly trolled but Haarsh was also trolled where they accused him for marrying Bharti only for publicity and fame. Some were so harsh that they even commented on their child saying, “a buffalo has given birth to a child.”
Bharti finally said that if the celebs went in front of the trolls, they wouldn’t be able to say a single word. She also added, “In this country, we say that a girl is a Lakshmi. But who are these people who keep trolling? Don’t they have mothers or sisters?”
