This weekend on Super Dancer – Chapter 4, contestant Anshika and her super guru Aryan wowed everyone, especially guest judge Annu Kapoor whilst celebrating the black & white or the golden era of Indian cinema. The duo even received a standing ovation when they performed on ‘Jahan Main Jaati Hoon Wahin Chale Aate Ho,’ an iconic song sung by the legendary Lata Mangeshkar.
All three judges praised their performance, emphasising Anshika’s adaptability in each dance form and how super guru Aryan’s choreography improves with each passing week. Shilpa said, “Aryan, your choreography was amazing. Anshikha is a very strong and versatile dancer. Every act and form you take up, you do it with utmost precision.”
Furthermore, following the performance, Anshika’s Dada and Chacha joined in a video call and expressed their experience of receiving public admiration and how Anshika has proven them wrong from the time she first appeared in the show. We all know how Anshika’s parents faced a huge challenge and backlash from their own family to get Anshika to this stage. Seeing a positive change in the mindset of her family members because of this platform, is heartening to say the least.
