Pawstruck: Sony SAB artistes share their experiences with their fur babies

With shoots coming to a standstill, Sony SAB artistes are encouraging their fans and followers to stay safe and stay entertained. Artistes who were earlier used to spending long hours on the set, now have ample time to spend some quality time with their family members, including the furry cuties, their pets.

Siddharth Nigam aka Aladdin from Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga said, “We have a pet dog and his name is Wasooli Bhai. He is a personality in himself. He is the most loved member of our family and this time off has been a lovely experience to bond with him. He is full of love and masti and an equally active member in most of my videos and posts. He is not camera shy just like me. Wasooli Bhai even used to accompany me to the sets of Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga and during those days he becomes my partner while script reading. Everyone really enjoys having him on the set and Wasooli Bhai and I look forward to be on the sets again.”

Talking about her Chihuahua puppy, Debina Bonnerjee aka Mallika from Sony SAB’s Aladdin Naam Toh Suna Hoga said, “Past few months have been a sudden change in everyone’s lives but staying close to my family and our youngest member, our pet, Pablo has helped me cope with this change. Now, Pablo is used to all of us staying at home 24×7 and it worries me a little that how will he adjust to the change when I start shooting for Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga again. Having said that, I feel Pablo has a huge role to play during these tough times which is full of uncertainty. Whenever I am a little distressed, a hug from him or cuddling with him really lifts up my spirit. Animals are full of love and affection and having a pet at home can be a really great and a happy experience. I usually do not take my pet to the set because when I once took my previous dog to the set, all the crew members were really afraid of him. Although, I might someday take Pablo on the set of Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga when I think he is ready.”

Hiba Nawab aka Elaichi from Jijaji Chhat Per Hain, who has a cat, too shared her furry tales, “I have always been fond of kittens, so my parents gifted me a Persian cat on my birthday. I named her Snowy as she is as white as snow. I also call her just Snow sometimes. I am so glad to have her in my life, and I love spending time with her. As soon as I enter the house, she is always ready to play and will greet with so much warmth and love. While shooting for Jijaji Chhat Per Hain, Snowy has accompanied me to the set a lot of times. She used to be the perfect break that I needed in between the shots and even for the crew and the cast, she turned out to be a relaxing presence. This phase has been difficult but Snow’s unconditional love and cuteness has helped make this period a lot happier.”
