Pimples are the most common beauty disaster we go through: Kumkum Bhagya actress Khyati Keswani

Khyati Keswani is an integral part of Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV.

She plays the role of Pallavi in the show nd in an exclusive conversation, she had some beautiful words to share about her beauty regime.

What is your beauty regime?

Beauty regime – basically wash your face first thing in the morning, cleanse it well, moisturize it. I follow a very basic routine. I don’t ever sleep with any kind of make up on and I always make sure to take my makeup off at the end of the day, and then again wash my face with a nice cleanser , moisturize it and that’s it

Which all products do you swear by ?

Products that I swear by, well there are loads, each product for a different thing, I actually really believe in home made skin care, I try and stick to a lot of multani mitti – Indian healing clay, neem leaves, aloe vera, I use a lot of aloe vera. I swear by aloe vera.

Tell us about one home made nusta…

For custom burns, sometimes you have sunburns and you basically break out of dry skin and get face cuts, I just apply a whole lot of aloe vera, fresh aloe vera, and I have an aloe vera plant and at home and that’s what I do, apply on cuts and wounds, and basically for sunburns and sometimes I do tend to break out into acne so for that I use mulltani mitti sometimes powder and rose water.

So how will you enhance your beauty if you have to make a man fall in love with you ?

Oh God, I don’t know I don’t want a man to fall in love with me only because of my beauty because beauty is going to fade one day and then what’s going to happen to his love?

But what would do? You know you make sure you look good and stuff so what is that one thing which you do?

One thing to look good and presentable , for me to be hygienic is very important I expect the man to be very hygenic , bad breath or no messy, his entire look should be neat and presentable, so I assume somebody would want me to be also like that. So I think I will probably use a nice perfume to smell nice and to basically be neat and tidy and presentable

What would you do when you really need to look good for a big event?

Just rest well and sleep well the night before and I think this also goes with your first question – one thing that you swear by sleep sleep sleep basically, no matter how much make up you apply you’re not going to be able to cover up puffy eyes, if you’ve not slept well the previous night you’re going to get puffy eyes and you’re not going to be able to help that, also just remain be happy, just try and kind of be joyful, be cheerful because I think all of that eventually shows. Make up everyone has access to right?? Everyone can basically wear whole lot of make up and put it on their face. I think I truly truly believe and I know it’s a common thing but I truly believe that inner beauty is what really matters. If you’re a nice human being, if you’re a nice person and happy in your space then that definitely shows in your face.

Have you had any beauty disasters and how you overcome them?

I think the worst beauty disaster has been a like a very common thing that everybody goes through is that for a shoot your face will break in a pimple or two, that is kind of hard to cover So sometimes a beauty disaster where you have to shoot that day and you have a pimple on your face right in front. And also sometimes I do have allergies, some make up that does not suit me or some thing that I’ve eaten wrong so sometimes you wake up with a rash on your face. So that is definitely a beauty disaster . I basically call my dermatologist cause it is a really common thing for me, breaking out into a rash because I have very sensitive skin, so a lot of things don’t suit me, there’s a new product I’ve tried or something that I’ve eaten, just a basic lipstick can do that to me also. So I have my dermat always on last dial and I just immediately send him pictures like doctor what to do about this? And otherwise immediately if you’re not able to get not touch with your dermat and he’s busy or you’re busy whatever, I think the best solution is just rub some ice on your rashes that will instantly just settle it down for time being till you get in touch with your doctor.
